A sustainable brand with a purpose.
We call it, the Join Love mission.
Love for humans. Love for natural fibers. Love for Mother Earth.
We aim to take a rigorous approach, recognising climate change as both a social and environmental issue, and embracing the need to work with our value chain to accelerate progress. The SDGs provide a shared blueprint. They’re an urgent call to action by all countries to toward a common goal to end poverty, improve health and education, reduce inequality and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change and working to preserve our oceans and forests. It’s one thing to know where you want to go, but it’s another knowing how you'll get there.
Our Roadmap sets clear targets against the framework of our three key sustainability pillars: Humans, Nature, Earth.
Guiding Principle | Objectives | Delivers on SDG | Achievements |
---|---|---|---|
Environmental and Climate Stewardship | Minimise environmental and ecological impact by prioritising responsible practices that support regeneration and a circular economy. | SDG 12 and SDG 13 | 100% natural fibers and reduction of the impact that results from colouring our textiles. Elimination of harmful chemicals from printing and dying. |
Responsibility & Visibility | Contribute to the improvement of global social conditions | SDG 10 and SDG 17 | Transparency: 100% of supply chain mapped |
Social Advocacy | Support and sustain artisanal design practices | SDG 10, SDG 12 and SDG 17 | Partnership with Fairtrade artisan group for annual projects. |
Earth is our sanctuary to roam and the more we travel the more we understand that global climate change is real. Which is why, we decided to walk lighter.
As a clothing brand, our mission is to adhere to our moral code of conduct, which includes environmental, ethical and social welfares. We aim to broader the Tallulah family to bring positive and meaningful change for areas in need.
We’ve implemented an alternative model by reviving a traditional textile technique in collaboration with artisans in India. This way we adopt a Farm–To–Closet initiative by cultivating our own organic cotton. Spinning and weaving is done by hand on ancient wood spindles and machines resulting in the finest and lightest cloths. We also use natural, plant–based dyes.
Our goal has always been to create a woman, Tallulah, with whom women of all ages, sizes, and nationalities can identify and feel empowered by.
We concentrate on crafting timeless designs that are cherished and can be passed down through generations. Before launching Tallulah, we adopted a rule: before purchasing any item, we would ask ourselves if we would wear it at least 36 times. If the answer was yes, we would proceed with the purchase. We apply this same principle to our design process, aiming to create enduring pieces that stand the test of time, whilst adhering to our sustainable practices.
The truth is beautiful.
We are dedicated to fostering long-term, genuine relationships with our global partners, collaborating with suppliers who uphold ethical trade practices and align with our sustainability vision.
Our commitment extends to working with businesses that prioritize environmental preservation, utilizing advanced technologies to minimize their ecological footprint. We ensure our garments are produced without hazardous chemicals, adhering to rigorous RSL and MRSL testing.
Compliance is crucial, and we proactively address any issues within the value chain. Our partners adhere to a strict code of conduct emphasizing diversity, human rights, fair wages, health and safety, environmental impact, and more, ensuring ethical and sustainable practices throughout.
